Hello, and thank you for stopping by, I’m so glad you did!  EKS is a small family owned and operated business.  I formulate, create, and package all the products in my home based workshop in southern Ohio.  Each product is handcrafted in small batches so you know you’re getting something fresh.

I started creating body butter for myself and it soon blossomed into making it for my family and friends. I’ve been creating products for six years and have learned a lot along the way. I make products that I want to use and I hope you like them too!

OUR VISION & MISSION

Our vision is very simple, to make organic personal body care products that are affordable and meet the EWG Skin Deep standards of Level 1-3. 

Our mission is to formulate organic skin care products using the EWG Skin Deep Database to check our ingredients during the formulation process. EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database is an online guide with safety ratings for more than 78,000 cosmetics and other personal care products and more than 2,500 brands. Skin Deep’s ratings range from 1 (low concern) to 10 (high concern). It has been searched more than 200 million times.  It was launched in 2004 to help people find safer products with fewer ingredients that are hazardous or haven't been thoroughly tested.

So, if during the formulation process an ingredient doesn’t have a low level rating I’ll search until I have a substitute that meets that requirement.
I’m deeply committed to making products that are affordable, safe, and wildly good! If it isn’t good enough for me and my family then it’s not good enough for you and yours.
